Beta testers are people who help test new software products, like video games and Web applications, before their official release.

How to sign up
1. Register and check the box that says you would like to be a beta tester.
2. If you wish, you can volunteer to be interviewed via telephone by our Visitor Research and Evaluation department.
3. You can sign up to be notified of updates and changes to the Web site.
4. You can choose to enter in our online online raffles .

Who can help
Beta testers can be anyone with access to the Internet. We want a wide range of testers—psychology students, kids, parents, teachers, seniors, internet aficionados, and people uncomfortable online or who access the internet at the local library or coffee shop. We want to make the very best Web site possible, and you can help us by trying activities, answering survey questions, and sending us feedback about your online experience.

What to expect
If you register as a beta tester, you might see multiple versions of the same activity. You might get asked questions in the middle of an activity. Your feedback helps us to design experiences that help everyone learn about how our minds work.

If you have already registered, but did not choose to be a beta tester:
* send an email to mind_feedback@exploratorium.edu.
* Subject heading should contain the phrase "beta tester" SUBJECT: WANT TO BE A BETA TESTER.
* Please let us know if you would like to be interviewed by telephone. If so, include your phone number and name.
* Also, please let us know if you would like to be notified of new activities appearing on the Web site.
